Watch as a CCTV security system catches muggers in the act, alerting their ground team who proactively chase the perpetrators away, leaving the victims unharmed.
The incident occurred on June 5.
Myertal Tactical Security‘s director, Clifford Gobetz, said their unusual-behaviour analytics platform allowed for the crime to be detected instantly by a 24/7 offsite control room.
“Following detection, our highly-skilled controllers immediately dispatched nearby security to intervene and deter the criminals. This resulted in an arrest, and the victims returning home unscathed,” he told News24.
