Atticus Capital Trust

Through the Atticus Capital Trust we facilitate the entry of private investors into existing companies to allow them working capital to grow by adding brands to their business that is complementary to its existing infrastructure and sales channels. Participation in the Atticus Capital Trust is only open by invitation to existing clients of Atticus whom is familiar with the company, its founders and the company’s strategy.

The Atticus Capital Trust aims to bring together international brand and license holders with established South African entrepreneurs. Atticus takes positions in South African companies by investing combinations of equity and debt that will allow the portfolio company to strengthen its capital base and grow its capabilities by acquiring the right or licenses to international brands. Atticus’ networks and knowledge of these industries are strong and therefore we can be selective in terms of the opportunities we pursue.
